Using the rFactor simulation and vehicle model as a base, Heusinkveld Engineering can recreate your vehicle in an extremely detailed manner. Results from wind tunnel tests, tire performance tests and inertia rig evaluations can all be applied to the virtual car. Full telemetry output makes it possible to overlay a simulated lap over a real lap with all the main loads and accelerations being very close to the real data. While it can never be a substitute for real track time, the real time simulation exceeds what lapsim software packages can usually do.
Heusinkveld Engineering can also play a key role in providing
realistic controls such as a 100+kg brake pedal, a 25Nm steering wheel
and even a neck training device applying occurring G forces on the
driver's helmet in real time. |
